There are more sellers than buyers, but with low interest rates and a buyer´s marketplace, more buyers are entering the market to take advantage of the conditions. Houses are selling for an average price of $360,000. This is only up 3% from a year ago. Houses are on the market for 60 to 90 days before receiving any offers, and when they do, it is for 90 to 95% of the asking price.
Worcester real estate is recovering from a decline. There are more sellers than buyers in the current market. Houses are selling for an average of $250,000, which is a 5% less than last year. When houses do sell, they are getting 95% of their original asking price. Houses are on the market for 90 to 120 days before an offer comes in.
