Negotiating and Closing a Good Deal

Everyone wants a 'good deal'. In purchasing real estate it is no different. My clients want to buy at the lowest price possible and the seller always wants to sell at the highest price possible. So who wins and how do they win?

Every successful negotiation requires a 'good faith' effort by all parties. If either party is lacking in this department, it is better to just walk away from the table. You are wasting your time. Someone is not getting a good deal in these situations.

Below are some ideas I have found that work to my client's advantage when purchasing real estate.

Are interest rates negotiable with the lender
Ascertain when the owner purchased the house & what he paid
Can you buy homes below market
Can you negotiate the price on new homes
Closing a real estate transaction
Do I need an attorney when I buy a house
Documentary Stamps
Does the seller have a deadline
How Is The Price Set
Is a low offer a good idea
Is there a secret to good negotiating
Keep one's mouth shut and eyes & ears open
Make the purchase offer contingent on a full inspection
Questions Families Should Ask Before Buying
Stigmatized Properties
What are problems buying foreclosures
What are some tips on negotiation
What Can I Afford
What Contingencies in an offer
What if the Buyer reneges
What repairs should the seller make
When is the best time to buy
Who gets the furnishings when a home is sold
Why are they selling
